General Information

• Built in 1938 and reconstructed in 1951, 1964, 1970 and 1973
• Dedicated on September 22nd, 1950
• Named after Fred Lewis Pattee, the first professor of American Literature from 1895 to 1928, wrote the Penn State Alma Mater
